Revival in Central America!

Recently, Patmos: Reality Discipleship had the opportunity to participate in the Central American Missions conference that took place at the Calvary Chapel in San Salvador, El Salvador. The Patmos staff and students were able to serve the Lord Jesus Christ by being a blessing to the brothers and sisters who gathered for this three-day event. It was an incredible way for the students to put into practice what they have been learning in the classroom.

One of the main purposes of Patmos is to prepare modern-day disciples that are willing to go anywhere and do anything for the sake of the Gospel. For that reason, it was an enormous blessing for the current students to serve the “cloud of witnesses” that have gone before them. Pastors came from different parts of the world such as Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Peru and the United States with a unified purpose: to glorify God, to learn from the experiences of other pastors on the mission field, and to edify the body of Christ in El Salvador. For Patmos, this was more than an opportunity to serve. God is at work in the lives of the current students, and He used this conference to confirm His calling and lead them to further adventures of faith.

We believe that God is starting a revival in Central America with El Salvador at its epicenter. Our prayer is that El Salvador will be the stage that God uses to call people to go deeper in their relationship with Him. Our prayer is that a generation would rise up who are determined not to know anything but Jesus Christ and Him crucified, who are willing to obey Him no matter the cost, and who are going to spread the Gospel to every part of Central America.
